Cyber Monday

Tomorrow is Cyber Monday!  Last year we purchased a GPS at a fantastic price that we have never seen so low since!  Plus free shipping!

Good deals are going to abound tomorrow, and CyberMonday.com is a nice one-stop site that lists many of the deals to be had.

Amazon.com has their Cyber Monday deals listed HERE - looks like some deals are even going on now and others start at 4:00 Central.

A quick example of a deal they are listing - $5.00 for Chris Tomlin's "Glory in the Highest" CD, normally priced at $12.99.

If you are going to be shopping online today or tomorrow, or any day for that matter, use a cash back or points site to stretch your buck - you can find almost any site through at least one of these programs.

For cash back sites I like:

Black Friday Ads

We will be going to the Cities on Black Friday for some shopping.  We don't ever do the 3:00 am thing, but we like to go out on that day and just see what we can get, have a family shopping day, lunch and do whatever else we find.  Last year we got a GREAT GPS for my father-in-law for $80!

I have been planning our Christmas list, what stores we need to hit and browsing the Black Friday ads.  In case you haven't already heard, yep....they are online!

Check out this site:  Black-Friday.net

You will find Target, Wal*Mart, Ace Hardware, Menards, Bath & Body Works, and tons more!
Even online stores like amazon.com are having Black Friday sales that are listed on this website.

I also had a friend tell me that Target is allowing you to buy an item now, then come back on Black Friday and they will adjust the price for you.  I want to ask Customer Service again to be sure she wasn't getting an employee that just was chatting and not stating a fact - but wow! wouldn't that be great?!

Printing Coupons and Printer Ink

Printing as many coupons as I do take a lot of ink.  Everywhere in town, the ink we needed was $40.  Ouch!

Then I found inkplustoner.com.  $20.

Yahoo!!

It gets even better!  I used a shopping program that gives you cash back on internet purchases called Mr. Rebates, and earned 12% back!

And even better....Mr. Rebates also gave me a 5% off code.  And shipping was FREE.

Shut the door!!

So in all, for right around $17 we now have ink in the printer on my desk.  Ahhh, it feels good to print as I please now.

And just as a reminder, if you print a lot of coupons-I do suggest you print them in "fast" or "draft" mode on your printer to use less ink.  I print mine in color (when using my printer, hubby's is just black) - so the cashiers know it's legit and NOT a copy.

**If you decide to join Mr. Rebates, my link above is a referral link.  If you join through that link, I will earn 20% on all your purchases through Mr. Rebates, this is at no additional cost to you.  I would greatly appreciate your support in this if you are thinking about joining, so far I have NOTHING bad to say about the program, it's easy and saves you money!**

Bath & Body Works $10 off $30 Printable Coupon & a freebie!

Are you purchasing Christmas gifts at Bath & Body Works?  If so, be sure to print the $10 off your $30 purchase HERE   (expires 11/22)

I love these sort of coupons because generally a limit we set for relatives is right around $20.  So, with this, we can get them $30 worth of stuff and still remain in our Christmas budget!  Or....I can keep the $10 extra worth of stuff for us!  :)  I love their soaps, which are currently on sale for $2.50 each.

If you are making any sort of purchase at Bath & Body Works, no matter how large or small, be sure to print  this coupon HERE and pick up a free travel size Signature item! (expires 12/2)

$5.00 Hallmark Coupon

Do you have the December copy of Woman's Day, Real Simple, O The Oprah Magazine or Martha Stewart Living?

If so, be sure to snag the $5.00 coupon for Hallmark that is in each of these magazines!  It's good through December 24 and has NO minimum purchase.  That could easily mean a free holiday card, or two - or perhaps something free that will go on clearance after Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the heads-up Heather...now I'm off to go dust off my Real Simple magazine I haven't yet read... :)

Turn $40 worth of change into $50

We have a coin cup that I throw all our spare change in.  It recently got full, so we started another one.  I didn't really have a plan with this money when I started it, but, I am pretty certain it will be going toward Christmas presents this year.

There are several Coinstar machines around town - Econo Foods, Wal*Mart, and Cash Wise all have these machines that will count your money.  If you ask for cash back, you will be charged $0.09 to the dollar; however, you can also trade your change in for a e-certificate to a number of various vendors.  Amazon, iTunes, JCPenny and more - and you won't be charged the $0.09 per dollar fee.

Now through December 6, if you take $40 worth of change to one of these machines and select to have it as a e-certificate, you will get $50!!

What a great deal!

Click HERE for Coinstar's website about the program.

Thank you to Karen for the info!

$2 - 6 inch sandwiches at Subway

It is Customer Appreciation month at Subway and you can get a 6 inch Cold Cut Combo or Meatball sub for just $2!

How to get Disney's Monsters Inc & Up for a total of $4.98

I just read a post from Couponing to Disney on how to get BOTH Disney's Monster's Inc and Disney's UP movies for a total of $4.98.

It takes some work, so stay with me.

First, the Blu-Ray Combo packs have both the blu-ray and the regular DVD in them, so even if you don't have a Blu-Ray player, this will work for you.

1) Take the Best Buy ad from this weeks paper into Target.
2) Best buy has UP on sale for $23.99 (Blu-Ray) and Monsters Inc for $18.99 (Blu-Ray).  Total is $42.98
3) Use the following coupons:
  • $8 off Monsters Inc. Printable HERE
  • $10 off UP Printable HERE
  • $10/2 Target printable HERE
Total is now $14.98 for both, $7.98 each.  GREAT DEAL.

4) Submit for two of these rebates:
  • Get $5 back by mail wybUP and (2) participating Kernel Seasons product. (Exp 2/28/10)
  • Get $5 back by mail wybUP and (2) Birds Eye Viola meals (exp 2/28/10)
  • Get $4 back by mail wyb UP and 1 Ronzoni ($1.00/2 printable HERE - get 2 boxes of spaghetti at Target for $0.54 after coupon) Ronzoni Smart Taste ($1.00/2 printable HERE), Creamette, San Giorgio, American Beauty, Prince or Skinner pasta. (Exp 1/15/10)
These rebates DO allow a copy of the receipt.  They only want the proof of purchase on the back of the DVD, and it has 2, so you can do two of the rebates!

Total is now $4.98 (or $5.98)  for both movies!  What an excellent Christmas gift these would make!

I surely will do the $4 rebate with the $0.54 pasta.  Not sure on the others since I don't have coupons, and they aren't items I normally buy.  But even so, $10 for 2 movies?!  Yahoo!

**PLEASE NOTE: I am reading a few other posts on this same deal and some Targets are refusing to match the $18.99 Monster's Inc deal since it is a Best Buy sale, wyb both Up and Monster's Inc, you get it for $18.99 (as opposed to $28.99).  Some Targets are not honoring that AND the $10 Target coupon.  I will ask at the Hutch Target this week and report back.

Coborn's Double Coupon Mondays

In case you happen to be in St. Cloud or another town with a Coborn's...every Monday through the end of the year, Coborn's is doing double coupons for up to 10 coupons, up to $0.50 face value!  That means if you have a $0.50 coupon, it will count as $1.00 off the item.

Rainbow Foods is the only other store I know of that does double coupons.  Every Wednesday, up to 5 coupons, up to $1.00 in face value once you have spent $25 retail (not the sale price of an item).  Sounds so confusing to me-but it would be worth figuring out if I were near a Rainbow on a regular basis, I'm sure it would mean plenty of free stuff!

Baby Einstein DVDs Exchange / Return

Do you have Baby Einstein DVDs that were purchased between June 5, 2004 and September 9, 2009?  Were you pleased with the product?

If you answered yes to the first question, and no to the second - you can now exchange the DVD for a Baby Einstein book or music CD, OR, return it for $15.99 (limit 4 per household).

Apparently, Baby Einstein has gotten some recent heat claiming that their DVDs improve a baby's intelligence.  However, the APA does not recommend any "screen time" for kids under the age of 2.  So, to avoid the lawsuit, Disney has started this "DVD Guarantee" program.

Before Henry was born, I was very excited about getting him a couple of these DVDs.  Not because I thought they increased intelligence, but because I have seen other kids just LOVE them.  I purchased one about sign language, because it is something I wanted him to learn.  Well....I was disappointed.  He never wanted to watch it and didn't like it.  I didn't expect much of an attention span at a young age, but even has he's gotten older, he doesn't like it (and he already knows his signs from me teaching them to him directly!).  So, I think I will be returning this DVD for the $15.99.  We also have a music CD that he isn't all too keen on!

I wish you could just simply take this into the store for an exchange; however, there is a form to fill out, mailing, etc.  Click --> HERE <-- for the steps to take, and the form to fill out, for the exchange.
