Cash Wise Foods Coupon Matchups - January 31 - February 6

A very nice ad this week!!  There are several items that require an in-store coupon to get the bargain.  When they did this in the past the coupons were considered manufacturer coupons (but only could be used at Cash Wise!); however, stacking still worked...most of the cashiers just go by the philosophy "if it scans, I'll take it."  I am not certain if that will be the case this time, I included the stackables just in case.  Get ready for some cheap cheese!

Hutchinson Rec Center's Indoor Playground

Remember the post I had here about the indoor playground at the Hutchinson Rec Center?

Today, Henry and I finally made it over there.  I had no idea what to expect.  I paid our $1 at the door and we turned the corner and found a young child's wonderland!  There were many different push type cars, frisbees, "big kid" bikes, balls, play mats, basketballs and a low hoop, a few wagons, 3 different pieces of equipment with slides, a few teeter-totters and lots of room to just run and play.  Henry had a blast!!

For $1.00 (or $2.00 for a family if you have more than one child), this is a great bargain.  It runs from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through April.

Menu Plan Monday

This week has a couple carry-overs from last week that we never made...

• Chicken stir-fry with rice
• Pasta with meat sauce, veggie
• Chicken in the crockpot - not sure on the sides yet
  
• Ham, mashed potatoes, veggie
• I plan to make bean & ham soup either Friday or Saturday.  I need to find a recipe and then make sure I have all the ingredients on hand.
• Saturday night we have a birthday party to attend, so dinner will be pizza at the bowling alley
  
• Eat out

Econo Foods Online Coupons

I ran to Econo Foods on Friday to take advantage of the Ragu deal ...which actually turned into a whole fiasco...apparently the deal had ended where you can buy 3 and get a $2.00 coupon back, but they hadn't removed the tags.  So the cashier rang me up 3 times, then the Service Counter did as well, in attempts to get the coupon to print.  I had to leave the store without the coupon so the Manager could call the company....she called back a while later and had my coupons printed - and I noticed all the signs were down.  So, I used the $2.00 and got my little man some yogurt...for free!  So, it was worth the effort even still!  3 jars of sauce, a box of pasta and a six pack of Trix yogurt for $2.97!

In addition to that I noticed a sign up for online coupons that Econo will accept - Our Family coupons!  Here are a few examples of what is available:
