October All*You Coupons!

Last night we went to Wal*Mart.

That store drives me bonkers.  We went to scope out their costumes for the upcoming Harvest Party at church.  The selection was terrible and way overpriced.  $17 for a sheet of plastic that looks like a robot?  No thanks.

We purchased a big fuzzy wig, and I noticed the October All*You on the racks!  THAT made the trip worth it.

Despite having to wait in line for 15 minutes to purchase TWO items.  Even the Self Check-Out areas were flooded (they only had 3 of 8 running???!).

Okay, I'll end my rant here and leave on a positive note - the cashier was very nice and friendly!

October's All*You is packed with great coupons, as always!  Here are some of my favorites:

$1.00 Cottonelle, love me a high value TP coupon.
$0.75/3 Hunt's Tomatoes
BOGO Rimmel Eye or Nail product
$1/4 Rotel
$0.55 Splenda
$1/2 Act II Popcorn Balls (sure to be on clearance after Halloween!)

$5 off The Proposal Movie

My Frugal Adventures has a blog --> HERE <-- pointing to a coupon for $5 off "The Proposal" DVD or $10 off Blu Ray!

I watched this movie with a great girlfriend on a "Girl's Night Out".  It's a perfect Chick Flick for having a bunch of girls over some night to just hang out and enjoy!  Or, when you just need a little girly escape for yourself.  :)

SuperAmerica Speedy Rewards Program

We purchased a new car several months ago now, and with our purchase, we were given a gas card-good until sometime in 2011, for $0.06 off a gallon at any SuperAmerica.

Let me tell you, with gas prices as high as they have been lately, we almost always choose SuperAmerica over any other gas station.  Cash Wise spits out coupons for Holiday, $0.05 a gallon, when you spend $50, and Wal*Mart is always a few cents cheaper, but nothing can be the $0.06 a gallon we've got with this gold card.  Smart advertising SuperAmerica.

In addition to that, SuperAmerica also has their Speedy Rewards program.  I joined this a long while back, not really thinking about what it was.  Until the points started to add up - and we got free stuff.  We do not ever purchase anything just for points - they simply build up from buying gas, the occasional coffee/treat, and we have taken advantage of their 2 gallons for $5.00 milk deal as well.

To date we've gotten several free drinks, a free breakfast sandwich, and used our points to get a $10 gift card.  Free stuff for doing what you do everyday.  I likee.  Even if you prefer to buy your gas elsewhere, but come to SA occassionaly, I think it's worth getting the card!

Free Aquafresh Extreme Clean Sample

You can print a coupon for a free trial size of Aquafresh Extreme Clean --> HERE <--

$5 Gift Card to Cold Stone Creamery

Utah Deal Diva has a post on how to get a $5 gift card to Cold Stone Creamery.  All you have to do is buy ONE participating product, mail in the receipt and UPC number.  Super easy, normal products that have coupons to make it an even better deal!  Check out her post --> HERE <--

I'm thinking this will be a GREAT stocking stuffer...

Free Little Ducks Baby / Toddler Snacks Sample

Click --> HERE <-- to sign up for a free sample of Little Ducks Organic baby / toddler snacks!  This looks like it's a new and upcoming brand that we'll start to see around the stores soon.  I love these sorts of samples for two reasons: 1) Now I don't have to buy a big box only to find out Henry doesn't like them, and 2) If Henry does like them, most samples come with coupons!!

Menu Plan Monday

Once again, Tuesday is here, and I'm just getting this posted.  However, I did have it done on Sunday! :)

This is a light week.  It's my last week of work, and my hubby wants me to take it easy on the homefront.  I'm not arguing with that!

-Eat Out

-Chicken stir fry with rice

-Turkey burgers (or chicken sammiches) with oven baked fries.  I think this has been on my plan for the past 3 or 4 weeks, but we haven't made 'em yet!

-Eggs, bacon, pan fried potatoes.  Possibly in a skillet format with cheese melted on top for hubby.

-Frozen pizza

The rest of the week will probably consist of left-overs, or eating out.

Next week, I hope to start more exciting cooking and trying some new recipes, like this Olive Garden Salad that Kathy posted on her blog!  Yumm-o!

Pampers Cruisers on Clerance at Target

Also at Target, I found a big box of Pampers Cruisers, size 4 are 100 count, for $20.28 on the end cap.  This box is normally $29.99.

They had some boxes in the $29.99 range that looked almost exactly the same.  Watch for the red clearance tag!!

Great Christmas gift for the little ones in your life, or perfect for this snowy weather we are having.  Just don't get me started on that.  Grrrrr...!
